I haven’t had a period since i came off the pill in January. My testosterone level was 5.6 but for someone without PCOS it should only be around 2. The doctor seemed to think that my level was high even for someone with PCOS

hi has anybody had a dermoid cycst and been pregnant?

on the 18th sept i had a scan as id had pains on my left side and after abit the sonographer said i had a dermoid cycst on my left ovary . at this point i was 4weeks pregnant that day i later found out, anyway wouldnt she of been able to tell from the scan i may be pregnant? like thickness of cervix and could the cyst have been the pregnancy. i had a scan at 6weeks and 8 weeks and they could not see the cyst and its not been seen since on any of my scans ( ive had 4 so far)
my lmp was 13th aug, according to my dating scan i concieved the 4th sept and due 27th may 08.

i am wondering were the cyst has gone if it was there in the first place and plus the lady who did the ultrasound and saw the cyst , it took her ages and didnt seem to interested.

question to marmar – so was i already pregnant when i had a scan and they said it was a cyst? at the time of the scan wouldnt there have been signs on the scan that i was pregnant?

I am 9 weeks pregnant. During my ultrasound this week the tech saw what she thinks is a dermoid cyst on my right ovary. She claims it was not there 2 weeks ago on my ultrasound. It is 3mm now. I go back in another 2 weeks for another ultrasound to see if it grows. What exactly is this and has anyone had this. I heard it’s pretty weird…filled with teeth, hair, even torso, hand, etc…

I am 13 weeks pregnant, and during two recent ultrasounds, the doctors have identified a dermoid cyst on my right ovary. They said it measures 4cm x 6cm. My family doctor isn’t sure whether it will require surgery and, if so, whether it will have to be done while I’m pregnant, or if it can wait until after I deliver the baby. (They also found a simple cyst on my left ovary, but said that one is common and will likely disappear on its own.) I am waiting to get in to see a specialist now to find out more. Has anyone had a similar experience?
