I got diagnosed at 18 (i’m 23 now) and after losing alot of weight and going on metformin my symptoms of pcos are gone
I’m guessing shes a normal weight because she has mild pcos, she needs to maintain her weight if so so the symptoms dont get worse
I know what ur going thru hun, I’m on Metformin MR because the normal ones made me feel ill..hang in their things will get better
Not all women with pcos have cysts..just an imbalance
It’s a syndrome not a disease but yeah i have the same as you…I lost 70lb and i no longer have ANY symptoms ..good luck
i hate having this disease i feel like the bearded fat lady of a circus and i think people will always look at me as such too. how do i deal with self loathing and ignorant people who make fun of me and cause me to self loath. i am getting lapband surgery for the weight ,plastics for the skin and eventually laser for the hair problem am i going in the right direction or should i get the gastric bypass?i am afraid of the bypass cause of the high rate of death with it
I JUST GOT DIOGNOSED WITH pcos.. i JUST STARTED METFORMIN 500 MGS 2X A DAY.. i DEF COULD USE A FRIEND
The strange thing about the doctor saying my daughter has this is she does not have excess hair growth? I wonder if we should get a second opion? The only symptome she really has is really just maybe a day for her periods or missed a period.
my 19 year old daughter’s doctor said she has it because the male hormone is just a little bit higher than what it should be, but I don’t understand how she got it, I don’t have it or my mother does’nt have it I thought it was hereditiry?
shes verry blessed
baby is cute. looks like he has socks on his hands. hehe
i had it when i was 16
i am now 18, besides loosing weight, i have no idea how i can cure it
i have alot off the embarassing symtoms boo. i had no trouble having children i have 4 yes 4 and their lovelly so i know im lucky that way, but i wish i could wake up and just feel normal my husband is great but my family thinks im making somethink out off nothink and i eat loads
i feel the same as u i wish the medical proffesion would take it into account and help alot more. on a more serious note i dont think unless you have pcos you will ever understand what us brave woman go through, good luck
My mum has a mild form, my sister and myself both got worse forms of PCOS. My sister is 7 years older and I had to watch her go through years of trying to become pregnant. I had more noticable side affects so assumed I would struggle to become pregnant even more. My sister after many years now has 2 children and after losing 3 stone I became pregnant as well. I really struggle with my weight and some of the other more embarassing symptons. I just wish more people were aware of this condition
