should you wait another month after being diagnosed with a 3cm ovarian cyst before treament?

i had an ultrasound taken of my pelvic because i haven’t had a period in over 2 months and the blood test was negative for pregnancy. they noticed a 3 cm ovarian cyst but they are wanting me to wait one more month to see if i get my period. should i wait or get a 2nd opinion?

I learned a lot of about this this past week – I was diagnosed with a kidney stone (turns out it wasn’t) and they said I likely had a cyst rupture and on the left ovary found small cysts and one that was 1.7 cm they told me today at the OB no worries at all. I am going for a pelvic ultra sound to ensure everything is fine.
By the time you make an appointment for a new OB it will take a month – see how it goes as many cysts are a wait/see approach or they put you on the pill to regulate things.
If you are in pain then I’d change this advice to call someone.
ASAP.
