Can ovarian cysts make a woman have a false negative pregnancy test? I was told that it should not bother it, but I have all of the symptoms of pregnancy and the home pregnancy tests keep saying that I am not pregnant. How is that possible that I am having pregnancy symptoms.

No. Ovarian cysts have absolutely no affect on the accuracy of pregnancy tests. Pregnancy tests test on how much HCG (the hormone an embryo/fetus gives off) in either the blood or urine, depending on which type of test you take. Typically, blood tests are more efficient. It’s a proven fact that not all women can get accurate results by doing a urine test, so when in doubt, it’s always best to get tested at the doctor’s.
