I have had ovarian cysts since I was 16 and I have one child and am 40+1 weeks with my second..the only thing they did for mine was give me birth control pills to make them dissolve..some are larger and do require surgery but I don’t think it effects your chances to conceive..good luck!
i found out i had an ovarian cyst when i was pregnant with my first (US tech thought i was cringing cause i needed to pee when i was really in pain lol) and they told me it was fine and would go away on its own. i didn’t take anything and im pregnant with my second. but it all depends on the type and size of the cyst. talk to your doctor.
it can stop you from ovulating, might not but can
I wouldn’t go the surgery rout until you excersize all other options.
The medications they would give you to treat the cyct would most likely improve your chances of conception greatly instead of hinder your attempts.
Ovarian Cysts are caused by hormone imbalances (usually) and medications would actually balance out your hormones, causing the cyst to shrink, as well as leveling out your body to a healthy stage in which pregnancy is prime.
Most people wait it out.
talk to your doctor about your options
Ovarian cysts will usually not effect your ability to have kids. For the majority of women, the presence of ovarian cysts has no impact on their ability to conceive. Typically, ovarian cysts remain small and don’t interfere with ovulation or conception
Conventional medical approaches to ovarian cysts are very limited, and treat the symptoms rather than the underlying root cause. The only options are do nothing, birth control pills (obviously not if you are ttc) or surgery. Have you considered the natural approach? If you take a holistic approach to treating what really is a profound internal, metabolic and hormonal problem, you are much more likely to get results.

Good luck.
