There is no way to know with out doing a pelvic exam, and I certainly can’t do that from here.
Besides, I went into anesthesia so I wouldn’t HAVE to do things like that.

That is one possible cause for heavy periods, but not the only one, or even the most common one. If you fear that you have developed fibroids, you need to see your gynecologist for a complete exam.

It could be anything, without knowing more information and if you have any other symptoms of fibroids it is hard to know if you have them. You would need to see your Dr and have an US or other scan done to see if there are any.
