My so called “friend” (not to my face… but still what a bi*ch) called me a fat **** to my friend and said PCOS is a pathetic excuse for being overweight. It really upset me especially as i eat healthier than her and exercise more often… i DO try but its really hard.

I’ve heard that it does make it very difficult. It’s not an excuse its a physical reason for not being able to lose weight.

I found this website, it might be helpful to you.

A lot of people don’t know about PCOS because their isn’t much public education out there unless you look for it yourself. I had a similar problem while standing up in my friends wedding. She told me to stop sitting around and eating so that I would fit into the dress she wanted me to wear.

PCOS has a lot to do with a womens weight if you are diagnosed with it. Sugars and Carbs don’t react in the same way as they would if your hormones were balanced. I have only had luck loosing weight with a very low or no carb diet. I am not a doctor, but that is what my doctor suggested to me and worked.

Best of luck to you,
Nikki
