Anyone had a dermoid cyst during pregnancy – help?

I am 13 weeks pregnant, and during two recent ultrasounds, the doctors have identified a dermoid cyst on my right ovary. They said it measures 4cm x 6cm. My family doctor isn’t sure whether it will require surgery and, if so, whether it will have to be done while I’m pregnant, or if it can wait until after I deliver the baby. (They also found a simple cyst on my left ovary, but said that one is common and will likely disappear on its own.) I am waiting to get in to see a specialist now to find out more. Has anyone had a similar experience?

i was told recently i had a cyst on my ovary they never said what type it was only that it could go on its own it is very common and I’m having another scan next week and i will have to go from there
but if yours does come to the point where you need to have it removed I’m sure it could be done safely
they will more likely just monitor you and see what happens before they do anything
