Polycystic
Ovary Syndrome or PCOS Syndrome
There is almost
nothing as troubling for a woman who has been diagnosed with an ovarian
cyst as to learn that
it's Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or PCOS for short.
The reason for this is
that while a simple ovarian cyst is most often relatively
benign, PCOS has enormous
ramifications... what about PCOS and
fertility? What's PCOS
treatment like? Is
there a PCOS cure?
Krista was 39 years
old when she began to exhibit signs of PCOS. Since one of the
major consequences of having PCOS is an
increase in androgen (a hormone that produces male characteristics) she
began to grow facial hair, had really irregular...almost non-existant periods and started to
gain weight.
Horrified, after she
realized what was going on, she started looking for a PCOS
cure. During her diagnosis, she
found out that her ovarian cyst was 4.5 inches.
Her doctor insisted
she have surgery, but Krista found something to help her...

Click
here to find out more about this book
and why you should have it. What Krista found
during her search is the same thing that I've found out. There is an amazing book by a lady named Mary
Parker called Ovarian Cysts No More,
which is not only great for helping women who suffer from simple
ovarian cysts, but the best thing is it's fantastic in helping women
overcome PCOS!
Her
holistic PCOS treatment shows you how you can be rid
of PCOS (and other types of cysts) within two months and
whats more, rebalance your hormones and enhance your fertility. The
thing that makes this book so fantastic is that you not only get the
information on how to cure your PCOS, but
you also get a full 3 months of ovarian cyst & PCOS
support personally from Mary. She doesn't have that many
spots left for her
support, but as of today she still does, so make sure you check out
her offer!
What
is PCOS?
PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome,
which simply means that instead of having a single ovarian cyst, there are multiple ovarian cysts
present. Although, oddly enough, you can be diagnosed with
PCOS without having multiple cysts.
The
strict definition is you have PCOS when you have two of the following
three symptoms:
- An absence of
ovulation
- An excess of
androgen (a hormone that generates masculine characteristics)
- Multiple cysts on
your ovaries
Symptoms
of PCOS are:
- Few, irregular or
absent periods
- Increased body
hair because of an androgen excess (masculanizing hormone)
- Hair loss on the
head or thinning of hair
- Obesity
- Infertility
Cause
of PCOS
Many tests suggest that insulin resistance, and therefore having high
insulin levels could be a major cause, although there is no proven
known
cause. There is a lot of medical speculation that you could
have a genetic predisposition, but as yet there has never
been a specific
gene isolated that is known to cause it.
